Textual Analysis of Magazine
Student ID
The masthead makes the magazine modern. Having the the letters lower case and upper case makes it seem childish. Also the letters are different colours and not alligned make it seem rebelious and chaotic, therefore the magazine is for students from aged 16 to 18. Another wa the mgazine looks chaotic is the coverlines, these are different fonts, colours and sizes. On the front of the magazine there are images of drunk students and images of programmes and films. Having these show what is inside the magzine and adds to the audience type. Also it represents the chaos of whats inside the magazine and shows what the students are like within the college. The background image of autunm leaves sets the season of when the magazine was released.
