The Magazine: Blitzed
Target Readership: Blitzed is the publication of Elliott Saul Productions. The readers of Blitzed are aged 16 - 19 but the magazine could be read by younger audiences who look up to thier older siblings. The readers of Blitzed have grown up in a music changing era. Drum and Bass is the new type of music which is popular for students. Blitzed is for the new generation and is interesting for them.
Form and Style: Blitzed is an A4 full colour magazine which contains drum and bass artists interviews , tips for deck mixing, advertisements for concerts and film reviews. Covers show drum and bass artists on the front cover with cool white grey and black backgrounds. Cover lines will show the magazine as hip and cool, showing whats new for drum and bass and who are the most popular artists. Graphics used are bold and eye - catching. Also the cover with be full of images and sub - titles which will make the magazine good for money to the audience. The magazine will sell at £2.00, an affordable magazine for students, making it affordable and profitable.
Themes and Typical Features: Blitzed will have many regular features of that in a drum and bass magazines. Every issue will include interviews, concert venues and reviews of films and televison programmes. It will also be reviewing the latest music, videos and games. The writers will use language familiar to the target audience to make the magazine interesting and allowing the reader to realte to the magzine.
Potential Advertisers: A range of brands will advertise in the magazine each week particulary those with an interest in looking cool, particulary clothes such as; drum and bass logos, Etnis and DCs.
Editorial Teams: The editorial team for Blitzed will be made of creative and experienced disigners of Elliott Saul Producers. The team will be mainly made up of drum and bass fans aged up to 26, however, the readers of the magazine will also be asked to add to thheir ideas. The team is to bring fresh ideas to the target audience whilst also having great experience.
